Fundraising for a local legend - Karlos

At Salt District Brewing, we've always believed in the power of community and the shared love for the ocean. Earlier this year, we had the privilege of being part of an incredible fundraising event that supported one of our own, Karlos Aarsen, on his journey to the ISA Stand-Up Paddleboarding Championships in France. Let's revisit the heartwarming event where we raised our glasses and celebrated the spirit of unity.

🌊 Brewing Dreams into Reality 🌊

Karlos Aarsen, a paddleboarding enthusiast and a true embodiment of the coastal lifestyle, had a dream to represent New Zealand on the international stage. His dedication to stand-up paddleboarding and his remarkable skills in riding the waves had caught the attention of the paddleboarding community. When the opportunity arose for him to compete in the ISA Championships in France, we (and many other small buisnesses in our community) knew we had to support him in any way we could.

🍻 A Toast to Unity 🍻

Salt District Brewing, a brewery that thrives on the support and appreciation of our local community, was honored to contribute to the fundraising event that propelled Karlos towards his dream. It was a moment that showcased the incredible unity and generosity of Whangamata.
